The XENYX X1832USB - 18-Input USB Audio Mixer with Effects from Behringer is a 18-input audio mixer with an integrated USB computer audio interface. It enables you to mix together and shape the sound of multiple audio signals, and route the audio to several outputs. The X1832USB provides six mono channels with inserts and four stereo channels, making it ideal for a wide range of audio tasks. There are three aux sends on every channel (which enable you to route individual channels to stage monitors or external effects). Every channel features a 3-band EQ with a swept mid, which can really help you make vocals and instruments stand out in a mix. The 9-band graphic EQ can be assigned to either the main or monitor outputs, and an FBQ feedback detection function helps to cut down on disturbing feedback. Hello all
I am posting today in hopes that someone will be able to help me figure out what I am doing wrong when trying to connect my mixer to my pc.
A few months ago I picked up a Behringer xenyx1832 for a band room I shared with a friend at his place. He decided to move out of state, so I needed to take all my equipment to my apartment.
So I have set the non loud things up, and have been trying to connect the mixer to my pc but keep running into problems that I can't figure out. My pc is a 64bit windows 7 pro and I went to Behringers website and downloaded: USB Audio Driver 64-bit USB ASIO driver
Then when I have it connected to my pc, the mixer will receive a signal and play sounds that the computer is making, but it will not send a signal to the pc. I go into the recording devices and select Behringer .. as the default, but when I try to listen to it no levels are given. And when I open up Audacity, Mixcraft, and another DAW I can't remember at the moment, it again has nothing coming from the mixer.
The little red button for usb has been pressed, but nothing goes to the pc.
Any ideas?
