Redgate Sql Search
If you're planning to install a new version of SQL Server Management Studio soon, we recommend you install it before installing SQL Search 2. Otherwise, SQL. I can't see the red gate sql search plugin in SSMS 2008 R2. It is supposed to display in the toolbar, but it does not. I saw a version on redgate forums that is supposed to fix the issue, that did not work. I tried a repair install. Has anyone got this to work?

It worked for me out of the box. I have SQL Search 1.1.6.1 running under SSMS 2008 R2 with SP1 (10.50.2500.0)

Redgate Sql Search 2016
Yeh dil aashiqanaa 2002. When I navigate to the Extensions area in SOS, I click Install. It opens up a browser window to https://www.redgatefoundry.com/SQLSearch. When I click download, it downloads a .vsix, which when I try to run I get a dialog with the following error:
